Trish Lopucki, MA
After graduating from Michigan State University with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Deaf Education, Trish Lopucki taught students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) at the preschool and middle school levels for eight years. She completed the Education Leadership Program at Grand Valley State University and worked as a special education supervisor and director for over ten years. Trish’s administrative experience includes serving on the board of the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education (MAASE) and leading for their DHH Community of Practice group for ten years. Trish specializes in Program evaluation, leadership, training, and coaching with a passion to improve outcomes for students. Trish is fluent in ASL and is the proud mother of a Deaf daughter.
Amy Wotring, MA
Amy graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Deaf Education. Amy built a successful DHH program during her nine years as a DHH teacher. She also served as a DHH Teacher Consultant for over five years before pursuing administration and completing the Education Leadership Program at Grand Valley State University. With six years as an administrator, Amy served as both Special Education Supervisor and Special Ed Director. She has also served on the Michigan Hands & Voices (MI H&V) leadership board and been an active member of the Michigan School Professional Serving DHH (MSPSDHH) organization. She is currently active with Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education (MAASE) as the co-chair for the DHH Community of Practice . Amy has a passion for supporting Deaf individuals achieve maximum equity and access in the educational environment by supporting teams of professionals, students and families.
